Gawd, I'm dumb.

I drove halfway to my college today before realizing I was still wearing my pink house shoes. I promptly turned around and went home, debating with myself if this was a good idea. I figured, I just wanted to get it over with.

What should have been a simple 10 minute trip there took me 30 minutes. Ha! When I got there, my luck didn't get much better. I went to the wrong building and then got confused as to where I was supposed to go. I ended up wandering around in 98 degree weather before I finally found the place I would supposed to be.

The form I was supposed to fill out? Took 2 minutes.

I think I'm going to dub this day "My adventures in blondeville!!!" :D

It feels like the whole world is conspiring to keep me from sleeping today.

Seriously.

I went to bed at about 2:30 last night, because I couldn't get sleepy. That was fine, except that my cat, Syaoran, started howling at 6 and didn't stop until my sister got out of bed. He would wait until I was almost asleep again and then let out a blood-curdling meow.

I crawled out of bed, thinking I could take a nap later. Which I did.

Kinda.

I was just nodding off again, when my mom started talking on her cellphone... 5 feet from my bedroom door.

After I got up and 'kindly' asked her to take it elsewhere, I went back to bed. I guess someone walked by our fence, or a stray leaf blew across the yard, because my mom's dog suddenly went apeshit crazy. I gave up for a while.

When my mom crawled in her room to take a nap, I decided it was a good time to do the same. Nope. I hadn't been in there five minutes, when the doorbell rang. It was the postman. A package for my sister came in.

I guess there really is no rest for the wicked.

I found my journal from last summer and had fun reading it last night. There was a lot of whining, which is pretty much default with journals, but there were some bright shiny moments I thought I would share with you.

... Which brings me to my theory (I'm not sure where I originally heard this): the best way to get a guy's attention is to get another guy's attention. I also personally think that guys have a special radar so that they can sense when a girl is trying to move on from them.

Prime example:
I went on a date last night and today 2 guys who I haven't heard a peep from in weeks sent me texts.

I still haven't talked to Ben (the guy I went on a date with), but he texted me when I was at work and at Brittany's house. Both times he asked me what I was doing - Exactly what I said I would be doing, dip-shit!

I sent Josh a text and he replied right away saying we should play again and "How about tomorrow! Great, I will call tomorrow to finalize it."
Psh. I'm still waiting for that call. Ass hat. I can't wait to hear what his excuse is. Fall off a roof and pull a Johnny? (Johnny fell off a roof and got temporary amnesia)

I just think it's funny how some things never change. I don't talk to Josh anymore, but Johnny is still in my life. My lesson for you all - pay attention! If you try to get over a guy, he will come a callin'! It's their radar!!! haha

Whoohoo! I survived finals week and somehow managed to hold on to my 4.0 by my fingernails! Gawd, I'm glad that's over. Now I am going to be a lazy bum and sit around by the pool all summer. Maybe I will get my butt back to work on my fanfics and such... right after my run! haha - yea right, I don't run anymore ;D

My mom went on her third camping trip yesterday. She's crazy - it's barely May! Oh well, whatever makes her happy. Before she left, she bought our new kittens a catnip plant and didn't bother to read the warning label before putting it on the floor. Turns out, it isn't meant for that kind of use. You are supposed to just pinch off leaves and rub them on things. How do I know this? Because I had a delightful surprise this morning.

I was sitting there, minding my own business, when all of a sudden there is a very loud fart filling the living room. One of the kittens had diarrhea. Lovely.

After I cleaned her up, I started wondering. All she eats is dry cat food - what could have caused this? Then my eyes landed on the plant.

I had seen her chewing on it the day before. Turns out that too much can cause vomiting and diarrhea.
